Jennifer Beahm,
editor-in-chief,
Pittsburgh Business Times
I am the editor-in-chief of the Pittsburgh Business Times in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and have been with the Business Times for 19 years starting out as a beat reporter and working my way up to managing editor and then editor.
In my role, I manage an editorial department of 9 to produce top-notch business news across print and digital platforms. I’m a key player in developing and driving strategies to grow audience, deliver compelling journalism and grow revenue. Breaking news is at the heart of what my team does, and we are always looking for better ways to deliver content that helps business leaders to grow their companies and advance their careers.
I also care passionately about Pittsburgh and the community here, and have a keen interest in furthering the conversation around ways to improve our region and its businesses by covering topics of interest to our region, including workforce development and transportation. I’m always interested in connecting with more people in the community to deliver the best news and information possible.
Prior to working at the PBT, I graduated from the University of Missouri with a master’s in journalism and Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s in English. I grew up in Texas, Alaska and Kansas, and love to read, write and spend time with my family.
Please read on to view some of the projects that I’ve had the privilege to be a part of and to access links to areas of interest.
Thanks for looking at my site,
